Dublin public transport timetables (DART, Luas, Commuter and Bus)

If you are planning a journey in Dublin, you may find it easier to use an online journey planner than timetables — doing so will allow you to view a variety of public transport options for your journey, along with the most up-to-date departure times. We recommend two planners:

The Transport for Ireland journey planner is the official government app and is very comprehensive in nature; however, the Moovit option is more Dublin-focused and may prove slightly easier to use.

Timetables from the main Dublin public transport operators

Please follow the below links for timetables for Dublin public transport:

  • Irish Rail - for DART and Commuter services around Dublin

  • Luas - for tram services in Dublin

  • Dublin Bus - bus services in Dublin (note: although Dublin Bus provide the vast majority of bus services in the capital, some routes are now run by a private operator. Please check the Go-Ahead website for these).

  • Bus Eireann - for longer distance journeys within the Greater Dublin Area

Dublin Port bus timetables

The two main bus routes from the city centre to Dublin Port are the 53 route, operated by Dublin Bus, and a shuttle bus service for Irish Ferries and Stena Line provided by Morton’s Coaches.
