Two bus routes between Dublin and Kildare to get enhanced services from 19th Nov 2023

The National Transport Authority (NTA) has announced that two Go-Ahead Ireland bus routes between Dublin and Rathangan in County Kildare will be enhanced starting on 19th November, 2023.

The routes in question are route 120 and route 126, with the revised timetable aiming to increase service frequency and expand capacity for commuters.

Notably, Route 126 will receive forty-six additional trips weekly, enhancing connectivity between these locations.

The service improvement includes the addition of six new coaches on Route 126. Another notable change is the introduction of a new bus stop at Killeenlea near Celbridge. Moreover, the 7:12 AM service from Kill to Newbridge will be extended to Kildare, offering more options for commuters.

These enhancements are part of the Connecting Ireland Rural Mobility Plan, a major national public transport initiative. Spearheaded and funded by the NTA, this plan falls under the broader framework of the Transport for Ireland (TFI) Network. It aims to improve rural mobility and connectivity across Ireland.
