Public Transport disruption due to Storm Éowyn
As Storm Éowyn approaches, Met Éireann has issued a Status Red Warning due to anticipated extreme weather conditions, including wind speeds expected to exceed 130 km/h in some areas, along with heavy rainfall and the risk of localized flooding. The storm is set to cause severe public transport disruptions on Friday, 24th January 2025, with services across bus, tram, and train networks canceled while the warning is active.
Additional disruptions are also expected in the hours before and after the warning is in effect. Precise times and durations for the warning across different regions are still being updated, so passengers are strongly advised to monitor the latest information from their transport providers and Met Éireann.
