This year’s Dublin Pride Parade takes place on Saturday, 28 June 2025. The parade will begin around 12.30pm, starting on O’Connell Street and finishing at Merrion Square, where the Pride Village will be open into the afternoon. As always, a number of changes to public transport services will be in place on the day to accommodate street closures and increased passenger demand.

Luas Services for Pride

On the Green Line, there will be no trams running between St Stephen’s Green and Dominick between approximately 9.40am and 5.00pm. Trams will continue to operate on either side of this section.

On the Red Line, there will be no service between Smithfield and Connolly or The Point from about 10.00am until 2.30pm. Trams will still run as normal on other parts of the line.

Park and Ride facilities will be available at the usual locations. Passengers should allow extra time for their journey and check the Luas website or app for live service updates.

Dublin Bus Diversions

Several Dublin Bus routes will be diverted or curtailed due to closures around Merrion Square and O’Connell Street. Diversions will begin early on Saturday morning and affect a wide range of services. Bus Éireann routes into the city will also be subject to changes during the parade.

Passengers are advised to check the Dublin Bus website or the TFI Journey Planner in advance of travel.

Irish Rail and DART Services

Extra DART and commuter rail services will operate on the day, with additional capacity on routes serving Connolly, Pearse and Tara Street stations. As stations are expected to be busy, passengers should allow additional time and follow any on-site guidance.

Further information on Dart and other rail services is available on the Irish Rail website.
